Ienzo is horribly traumatized by everything that happened in those eleven years and has nightmares about it every time he sleeps.
Ienzo is also terrified of asphyxiation he kind of got strangled to death one of those times he died.
Ienzo is convinced that he's responsible for the DESTRUCTION OF THE WORLDS, AND ALSO THE DEATH OF HIS FOSTERDAD

He spent an entire summer working on his dad too, because his dad (being a giant hippie) wasn't that hot on the idea of Karkat going to military school, even if rich great-aunt Betty was willing to shell out for it. Karkat realized within a week that he was more miserable there than he'd been at his old public school but lied about liking it there because he didn't want to look like an idiot.
--His great-aunt is Betty Crocker. (Look, Karkat finds it kind of embarassing which is why he doesn't talk about it except for that one memo with John where he was helping John cope with Betty Crocker being his great-grandma.)

- This abuse eventually came to a head at the age of twelve when he shot his dad in the fucking head. He never told anybody.

- He didn't finish high school because even back then he was a drunk.

- Three days later she got possessed by a demon and he stabbed her three times in the chest. When the demon was exorcised, she died.
- He is absolutely terrified of the thought of having kids because he's convinced that he'd be just like his dad.
- He lived on the road for years with a friend by the name of Rufus, who presumably is the man who exorcised his wife (she died after the demon left her body, not before). They actually were really good friends until something happened in Omaha. It isn't really clear, but it seems like Bobby fucked up and it resulted in the death of Rufus's daughter? Rufus has never forgiven him.
- Sometimes he likes to get pedicures.
- There are countless people who Bobby blames himself for the deaths of. Most of them aren't actually his fault, but he believes that if he'd just been faster/smarter/better they'd still be alive.
- The only reason he hasn't killed himself is because he promised Dean he wouldn't. He thinks about it all the time.
- Death once brought Bobby's wife back to life as a zombie. He killed her again.
- One time he tongue kissed the King of Hell.
- He also sold his soul but for some reason that's less embarrassing.
- As hard as he tries he can't keep the people he loves from dying.
- Absolutely no one hates Bobby Singer more than he hates himself.

- Had a crush on Jinto (the guy who came in with her, and is no longer here)
- When she was a kid, believed her genes came from the cat. (This was her father's fault.)
- Killed her first person when she was a teenaged pilot trainee, officially for treason, but mostly because he was in her way (and also a creeper mccreeperson).
- Feels pretty useless in the game, regardless of how much she levels.
- Is really sick of planets, even if hers is more of a giant space station thing.
- There's also the business where Lafiel's ancestors were genetically-engineered slaves of an isolationist Japanese colony, that they then blew up. So, she's a bit awkward around people she recognizes as Japanese.
- Standard anti-Abh propaganda is about them being soulless biological machines that only care about the Empire and not themselves/other people/humanity. (And, you know, pretty much anything anyone says about their enemies.)
- Lafiel is a princess.
- Which means she's supposed to not favor her subjects with emotional displays in public. (For instance, she's not supposed to cry unless it's over the fate of the Empire or whatever. It's one reason why she's so serious.)
- Jinto and her crew grokked this, but a lot of people in game don't.
- Or really don't get Abh in general (Lafiel probably does not help this, since she doesn't talk to people).
- Lafiel is hard, because she's rarely ashamed of some things.

Ken
- Whoo boy.
- His last words to his older brother before his brother's death were along the lines of 'I wish you'd just go away' as part of an argument.
- Spent some time under mental influence being a jerk to everyone...
- ... which culminated into trying to conquer the Digital world and enslave all the residents...
- .. which made him a runaway from his parents, who didn't know any of this (which he regretted later and now worries any time he has to leave for stuff)...
- ... and he messed with the Digital world's code to do this and to try to create the most powerful, perfect, Digimon...
- ... Which nearly drove him insane from the darkness...
- ... and, as much as he reassures himself, he fears he's still susceptible, especially without his friends.
- Also, while under the influence, he was physically abusive to Digimon, including his own partner, Wormmon
- And nearly killed some kids (because he hadn't realized the Digital World was more than a computer game, but...)
- And did get Wormmon killed when Wormmon was trying to save him from himself. (Digimon get better from death.)
- And, because the universe doesn't hate Ken enough, the thing causing his whole Evil Overlord schtick was harvested from him and given to a bunch of kids, causing them to act like jerks.
- ... Which they accepted, because they worshiped Ken's public persona of being an awesome genius.
- And it's still there, albeit in an inactive form.
- Which is one reason why the Shadow Planets scare Ken, and why he is kind of not fond of travelling off world.
- Ken is also pretty lonely and still in the 'how do I friends' stage. You know, if horrible backstories aren't enough for GLaDoS.

-Has never actually defeated his archnemesis, Captain Hammer.
-Has a ridiculous stalkercrush on this one girl he's never actually talked to. His safe has a bunch of terrible love poems that he wrote to her, but was too scared to send.
-Speaking of said safe, it also contains two weapons (one of which is the disintegrator) that Billy doesn't trust anyone to use - even himself.
-His sidekick/roommate is an amateur villain named Moist whose superpower is being really sweaty.
-Moist was Billy's Evil College roommate as well as his best and only friend before entering the game.
-Doctor Horrible was a nickname some kids in grade school used to tease him. He took it on as a supervillain name to spite them.
-Billy didn't actually think the disintegrator would kill Giant, and still feels massively guilty about having done so.

ERIDAN
-He's spent the past few sweeps in an on-again, off-again black relationship with Vriska Serket because no one else really talks to him anymore.
-He is the Keeper of Gl'bgolyb, which isn't really an official title or anything but Eridan likes to pretend it is. This role basically comes down to "the guy responsible for feeding the eldritch horror capable of wiping out his entire race." Normally the duties are spread out among all the seadweller aristocrats of a given generation of children but Eridan has decided that it is his responsibility to do it all himself.
-In the process of feeding Gl'bgolyb he's killed something like thousands of lusii. He has no regrets.
-He honestly believes all the bullshit he spews about seadweller supremacy. Or at the very least, he honestly believes that he honestly believes it. Glados may not be able to tell the difference.
-The reason Eridan is so broken up about the loss of his rifle is that his entire self-identity is relative. He has no internal sense of self-worth, so he uses his place atop the hemospectrum, his murderous skills, and his connection to his ancestor to keep him from feeling worthless. Losing Ahab's Crosshairs destroyed two out of three of those in one fell swoop.
-He has a vague palecrush on Bertie Wooster and is in deep, deep, denial about it.



-He has been madly in love with Feferi Pexies since the moment they met. The moiralleigance was just an excuse to get as close to her as possible.

-she got away from the ceremony by jumping off a tower
-she killed her imaginary boyfriend's imaginary dad (okay, he was kind of bound to a world-killing god whale, but)
-one of her guardians also died, or rather vanished after revealing that he had always been dead
